Courses
Originally used as a storage facility the building was refurbished in 2003 it now serves the Islamic educational needs of the local Muslim community. Classes for children are held during the week together with Quran Hifz and part time Aalim course.
Children’s classes are held during weekdays between 4:30 - 7:30pm. Children are offered the full Maktab Nisab consisting of Quran, memorisation of essential Surahs, Duas, Aqeedah (beliefs), Fiqh, Islamic history, good morals, character and behaviour.
Classes for memorization of the Holy Qur’an (hifz) are held between 5:15 - 8:00pm.
The Madressa also runs a part time Aalim course which covers the various sciences of Islam including Fiqh (Islamic Jurisprudence), Hadeeth (Prophetic Traditions) and Tafseer (Commentary of the Quraan).
Classes are held from 6:30 - 10:00pm, there is no age limit, we have students who started in their 40s!
Classes also take place on Saturday mornings, times are set at the start of each academic year. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the Madressa.
